Coco is a medium-size pit-mix. She is new to the rescue so we will update her profile as we learn more about her. So far we know she loves an exciting excursion into the woods. Also, she is focused and loves a good treat – a great combo for responding quickly to training. Coco was left behind by her previous owner and is in need of a home where she can bond with a life-long companion.

Update: Coco is enrolled in Hounds of Prison Education (HOPE) through the Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance (CPAA). In the program she will receive one-on-one training with inmates who work alongside professional trainers. HOPE dogs, like Coco, learn basic obedience, tricks, and agility. All dogs that graduate through the program come with free training for the rest of their lives once they are adopted!
