Junior is a 1-2 year old male American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier Mix who is smart, affectionate and can learn quickly! In his current environment he does well with a special-needs autistic teenager. He gets along well with 2 of the 3 other dogs in the home, but is kept apart from the 3rd. Junior enjoys his freedom in the house and yard, but is not regularly leash-walked.
He is as shy as can be around new people and takes a few minutes to warm up. But once he does, he is very friendly! Junior would benefit from confidence-building training and would probably enjoy being the only dog or perhaps live with another companion dog with proper introductions.
