Puma
I like to take long walks with my foster mom, especially in the morning before she starts working from home. I'll nap most of the day so I'm ready for an evening stroll. The outdoors is my happy place! A yard to run & play is very important since I have lots of energy, but I also need a nice sunny spot to catch my breath and take more naps.
Other dogs are fine for play dates, but I'd prefer you give me all of your love & affection. You could convince me to share your affections with another dog as long as they can keep up with me. Human friends are great! I'll take a belly rub or treats from just about anyone. However, I get excited and sometimes forget how big I am & wouldn't want to knock over any little ones, so a home with adults or older kids is best.
Temperament: Energetic and affectionate
Favorite Snacks: Yak cheese and bully sticks
Biggest Flaw: Sometimes I get excited, but you can get my attention with a treat. I will basically do anything for a treat!
Talents: I have good manners, know plenty of basic commands, and love to learn new ones. I'm crate trained and also behave well when left alone-though I will miss you!
Favorite Toy: My squeaky, crinkly stingray. I also like tug toys and playing fetch.
Proudest Moment: I just graduated from Buck Wild Dog Training's six-session One-on-One program in Spring 2022.
